The Academy’s Committee for Lifelong Learning is looking for original ideas and subject matter experts to present advanced level, evidence-based sessions and workshops that address current challenges faced by nutrition and dietetics professionals.

We also are seeking interactive workshop proposals focused on engaging participants and creating a dynamic learning environment for both pre-conference and mid-conference workshops. Learn more and submit a proposal by November 15, 2023.

A Message from U.S. Agriculture Secretary

“The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics plays a critical role in nutrition, security and the overall health of Americans,” said U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack in a recorded message to FNCE® attendees, highlighting USDA initiatives such as the Agricultural Science Center of Excellence for Nutrition and Diet; $30 million in grants to school districts through the Healthy Meals Incentive Program; updated WIC food packages; the Gus Schumacher Nutrition Incentive Program to incentivize SNAP participants to buy fruits and vegetables; and other programs to advance food and nutrition security, reduce diet-related chronic diseases and promote equity. “As trusted and credible messengers, your advocacy and power can help ensure we achieve our shared goals of maximizing our federal nutrition programs, tackling food and nutrition insecurity, and improving public health.”
